It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hanvey Vaughan of Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Haynes Vaughan; his parents, George Alexander Vaughan and Alma Maude Hanvey Vaughan; and his son George Vaughan. He is survived by: his children, Gloria (Ronnie Blake), Scherry (Bob Bridwell), Tommy (Melissa Vaughan) and Gina Vaughan of Covington. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
