He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Terri Partlow, Nelson Hawkins and Fredrick Hawkins; his siblings, Tom Rucker, Joe Rucker and Jackie Allen; his adoptive daughter Joyce Hughes; and his stepchildren, Shanterrin Harland, Woodrow Rucker, Sharon Chandler and Lydia Stowers. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
