She was predeceased by: her sisters, Mary Combs, Geraldine Farley, Ruth Klutterbuck and Sharon Napier; and her granddaughter Janet Pope.

She is survived by: her significant other Carl Brown; her daughter Della Marie Shiver (Doug) of Mobile, AL; and her siblings, Dana Lloyd Napier, Jr. of Kentucky and Frances Haley of Hazard, KY. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
