She was predeceased by: her parents, Jules Reed and Armance Vidrine Reed; her husband J. C. Fontenot; her son Dennis Wayne Fontenot; and her siblings, Evelyn McGee, Lina Pritchett, Will Reed and Lee Burt Reed.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Fripp (Troy) of Ellaville, GA and Paula Fontenot of Villa Platte, LA; and her grandchildren, Nikki Watson (Chris) of Ellaville, GA, Geneva Lamberth (Mike) of Columbus, GA and Cami Coleman (Rusty) of Ellaville, GA. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
