He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin G. Masters and Mary Lee Wages Masters; his former wife Eleanor McCollum Masters; his daughter Joy Ann Masters; his grandson Samuel Turner; and his siblings, Vernoy, Robert, Marvin Masters Jr., Cora Lee Fincher and Ruth Hester.

He is survived by: his wife Charlene McClure Masters; his daughter Anita; his son-in-law Brian Turner of Jacksonville; his sons, Gary (Delores Masters), Mike (Sally Masters), Brady (Amanda Clayton) and Brandon (Stephanie Clayton); and his grandchildren, Kimberly, Jason Seville, Kelly, Aaron Peevyhouse, Michaela Masters, Nicholas Masters, Joshua Turner, Jake Turner, Caroline Tucker, Rebecca Tucker, Robbie Tucker, Raycel Clayton, Joshua Clayton, Cannan Clayton and Jericho Clayton. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Due Covid 19 concerns no public invitation will be held.
