It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora Matthews Drummond (Ellijay, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on September 5, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold G. Matthews and Beatrice King Matthews; her husband James H. Drummond Jr.; her children, Sharon Deavers, Dianne Drummond and Edward Drummond; and her siblings, Sue Daniels, Rita Kimbrell, Sandra Jackson, Ophelia Chester, Glenda Smith, Glenn and David Matthews.
She is survived by: her son Scott Drummond (Kolleen Watts); her grandchildren, D. J. Hamilton (Hailey), Donna Hamilton, Cameron Drummond and Allyssa Drummond; her great grandchildren, Abby Hamilton and Don Hamilton; her brother Harold Matthews (Debra); and her siblings-in-law, Phil Drummond Sr. (Deborah), Frank Drummond and Carolyn Clary.
