She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Augustus Smith and Beulah Smith; her sister Alice Grizzle; her husband Bryant Strickland; her children, Frankie James, Nora Faulkner and Michelle Carleton; her grandchildren, Stephen James, Michaela Pritchard, Mariah James, Andrew Carleton, Erin Leigh Carleton, Coco Carleton, Alan Carleton and John Carleton; her great grandchildren, Dallas James, Dory James and Eliza Pritchard; Beth James, Leroy Faulkner and John Carleton. She was also cherished by her husband, daughter, son in law, and five grand children.
Flowers are being accepted or donation can be made to Shriners Children's Hospital.
