She was predeceased by: her father J. L. Long; her daughter Heather Renee Rich; and her sister Virginia Long. She is survived by: her mother Katherine Betty Long (Densmore) of Dalton, GA; her husband Michael A. Rich of Ellijay, GA; her daughter Amy Leigh (Tony Sassman); her grandchildren, Titus Matteson, Josiah Sassman and Emma Sassman; and her brother David Long of Dalton, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to memorial fund for grandchildren in care of Michael Rich at 1604 Camp Branch Rd Ellijay, GA 30540.
