Ellen Weaver Reece Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2020, Ellen Weaver Reece of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hobert and Izoma Matilda Weaver; her husband Hayward Jackson Reece; her daughter Lisa Ann Reece McGhee; and her siblings, Ruel Weaver, Melvin Weaver, Marvin Weaver, Paul Weaver, Leon Weaver, Willard Weaver, Ruby Wilson and Edna Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Hale (Lynn) of Ellijay, GA, Sheila Reece Walls of Carrollton, GA and Kevin Reece (Paige) of Ellijay, GA; her grandchildren, Nathan Smith (Chiara), Kristin Smith, Zachary Walls, Austin Walls, Rachael Malone and Noah Reece; her great grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Jackson Smith, Molly Smith and Mason Malone; her siblings, Judson Weaver of Columbus, OH and Kay Thurman; her grandsons, Zack Walls and Ty Reece; and her great grandchildren, Riley Smith and Dreyton Malone. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid epidemic a graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 2:00pm at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Russell Hood and Speaker Edgar Land officiating.
