He is survived by: his wife Patsy Teague Thurman; his children, Cindy (Mark West), Lauree (Shannon Pierce), Jennifer (Erik Ferris), Rodney (Kathy Thurman), Jim (Andrea Wilson) and Jeff (Erin Thurman); his grandchildren, Brady, Sarah West, Macy, Josh Griffin, Savannah Thurman, Emma Thurman, Eva Thurman, Jessie Wilson, Mia Bazelis, Ava Bazelis, Mandy, Josh Bryant, Will, Kennedi Ward, Maggie Pierce, Jack Ferris, Mia Ferris, Reid Ferris, Lucy Thurman, Lily Thurman, Payden Thurman, Payleigh Thurman and Scotlin Thurman; his great grandchildren, Halle Mae West, Ty West, Rawlins Griffin, Wade Griffin, Brantley Griffin and Stella Bryant; and his brother Jack Thurman of Ellijay, GA.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
