We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2025, at the age of 79, Guy Inman Cheek Jr. of Ellijay, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Inman Cheek, Sr. and Philapine Helms Cheek; his parents-in-law, Edna and Romas Norton; and his sisters, Joyce Collier, Joyann Bullington and Norma Pledger.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Norton Cheek of Ellijay, GA; his children, Nathan Guy Cheek of Ellijay, GA and Kristi Borselmann (Brad) of North Port, FL; and his grandchildren, Aiden, Madison, Benjamin and Presley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM at the Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:45 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Yukon Cemetery (132 John Call Rd, Ellijay, GA 30536).
