She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Bohannon and Geneva Anderson Bohannon. She is survived by: her husband Thurman Shumate; her children, Annette O'Hara, Karen Harrison, Thurman Keith Shumate and Darlene Burdett; her brothers, Gerald Bohannon, Wayne Bohannon, Charles Bohannon and Harold Bohannon; her grandsons, Brandon Anderson and Chandler Burdett; and her great grandchild Parker Anderson.
