It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Curtis Amerman of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Felty and Vivian Marie Amerman (Curtis). He is survived by: his wife Minnie Amerman of Ellijay, GA; his brother Arnold "Butch" Smith; his children, Susan Elizabeth Amerman, James G. (Margaret Amerman), John (Debra Amerman) and Edwin (Wendy Amerman); his grandchildren, Magdeline Mahairass, James C. Amerman, Steven R. Amerman, Kaitlyn N. Amerman, Stephanie Amerman, Kayci Baumann, Johnathan Amerman, Braden Amerman and Drew Amerman; and his great grandchildren, Kai Buckminster, Riley Baumann and Brayson Amerman.
In lieu flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
