It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Maddox Jr. of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Maddox and Snookie Maddox; his son Eric Maddox; and his brothers, Dudley and Ronny Maddox.
He is survived by: his daughter Angel Parker (Tommy); his daughter-in-law AmyJo Maddox; his grandchildren, Timothy Maddox (Chloe) and Bethany Richards (Brian); his great grandchildren, JB, Jaxon and Joah Richards; his sister-in-law Sheila Maddox; his siblings, David Maddox (Cheri) and Lisa Reid; and his close friends, Sharie Bruce and Diane Smallwood.
