He is survived by: his children, Havern Mayfield (Brittany) of Morganton, GA, Heath Mayfield (Kelsey) of Blue Ridge, GA, Alicia Cox (Rusty) of Blairsville, GA and Crystal Cook (Julian) of Andrews, N. C.; his sisters, Sue Teague of Ellijay, GA, Marie Morgan of Ellijay, GA, Connie Clark of Ellijay, GA and Lisa West of Ellijay, GA; and his grandchildren, Chetley Cox, Aubrie Cox, Cambrie Cox, Tyler Cook, Torrance Cook, Felicity Cook, Stetson Mayfield, Grayson Mayfield, Callie Mayfield and Myrick Mayfield.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540).
The family will be accepting flowers or in lieu of these, donations may be made to the Bernhardt Funeral Home @ 163 River Street, Ellijay, GA to help alleviate final expenses.
