It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnson Hopkins Jr. of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Cumming, Georgia, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnson ''Grady'' Hopkins Sr. and Avery Sweatman Hopkins. He is survived by: his wife Jean Hopkins; his son Joshua; his daughter-in-law Rachel Hopkins; his daughters, Pamela (Mitchell Wilson) and Darlene (Ricky Teague); and his siblings, Lamar, James, Martha Wheeler and Emma Hopkins of Winder, GA. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews.
