She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Starin and Evangeline Starin (Russo). She is survived by: her daughter Kimberley; her son-in-law Tom Taylor of Ellijay, GA; her son Kenneth Star of Ellijay, GA; and her grandsons, Seth, Levi Taylor and Korben Payne.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Homeward Bound Pet Rescue at hbpr.org in memory of Mrs. Star.
