With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Faye Cantrell of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Carl and Dolly Lavina Smith; and her siblings, Shelby Fields and Harold Smith. She is survived by : her husband Rev. Billy Cantrell; her sons, William of Ellijay, GA, Beverly Cantrell of Ellijay, GA and Chris Cantrell of Ellijay, GA; her grandson Mason Cantrell of Mesa, AZ; and her siblings-in-law, Joy Cantrell Childress and David Cantrell of Ellijay, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the Scrougetown Community Church Fund, c/o Michael Cantrell, 136 Old Hickory Hollow Road, Ellijay, GA 30536 in memory of Linda Cantrell.
