Lois Guess Pell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Guess Pell of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Chatsworth, Georgia, who passed away on January 11, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Simon and Willie Mae Guess (Lenning); and her siblings, Betty Guess Dean, Edna Guess Nix, John L. Guess and Ottrell Guess.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law Jackie Brown of Jasper, GA; her son Thomas "Marty"; her daughter-in-law Jeanelle Hibberts; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hibberts Harper, Heather Hibberts, Tommy Hibberts and Shane Duncan; and her sisters, Jean Guess Usher of Dalton, GA, Mozell Guess Little and Violet Guess Wilson. She is also survived by five great- grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 epidemic a Graveside service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, Oakman, GA, with Rev. Bryan Winkler officiating.
