It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Ann Abney Trotter of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Kennesaw, Georgia, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Abney and Bessie Adair Abney; and her sister Melba Blackwood of Kennesaw. She is survived by: her husband Oliver Eugene "Gene" Trotter; her children, David Trotter of Acworth and Christina Novellas (Ed) of Smyrna; her brother James Abney of Kennesaw; her grandchildren, Katy Beth Sirokman (Jon), James David Trotter, Natalie Novellas and Stephanie Novellas; and her great grandchild Maddy Kate Sirokman.
