It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Chastain of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thera Segars and Florence Hutcherson Segars; her brother Jefferson; her husband John K. Chastain, Sr.; and her granddaughters, April Jane Graham and Dr. Kristin Michael.
She is survived by: her son John K. Chastain, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Sandra; her daughter Sheila Chastain Michael; her son-in-law Tom; her grandchildren, Ashley Bradford (Kevin) of Marietta, GA, Heather Jackson (Jason), Rocky Face, Seth Graham, Jonathan Chastain (Caitlin), Dan Michael (Amber) and Tony Michael (Ashley) of Cookeville, TN.; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Haley, Holly Jackson, Kalyn, Kinsley, Kelsey Graham, Lily, Daphne, Daisy Chastain, Tucker, Evangelynne, Harper, Noah Michael, Wren, Jonah, Eleanor and Jane Michael.
