He is survived by: his mother Theresa Mae McCorkel (Blackburn) of Ellijay, GA; his grandchild Sandy McCorkel of Jacksonville, FL; his siblings, Belinda B. McCorkel, Freddie L. McCorkel of Ellijay, GA, John M. McCorkel and Raechelle Savage of Ellijay, GA; and his siblings' children, Kristin Strauss, Jeremy McCorkel, Keri Politano, Joshua McCorkel, Angelia Hughes, James L. McCorkel and Breeanna McCorkel.
