She was predeceased by: her husband Carl W. Erwin; and her sisters, Edgel Crook, Gertrell Miller, Evelyn King and Inez Hardin.
She is survived by: her son Carl M. Erwin; her daughter-in-law Nathalie Moore-Erwin; her grandchildren, Josh Erwin (Ashley), Elyse Potthast (Patrick), Melanie Lipson, Natalie Kennell (Chris) and Jessica Linden (Doug); and her great grandchildren, Sally, Kiera, Riley, Gavin, Carson, Parker, Alexandra and Penelope.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Opal to the Happy Hearts Senior Adult Ministry at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church, 5145 Due West Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127.
