With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Fannie Lipton of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on May 27, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Irving Lipton and Eleanor Krieger Lipton; her daughters, Andrea Hinda (Jim Townsend), Ellie Lipton of Ellijay and Michelle (John Harris); her grandchildren, Tristan Shaffer, Daniel, Jamie Oster, Craig Oster and Jessica Townsend; and her great grandchildren, Kobe and Jordan Oster. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, many other extended family members, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to Regency Hospice of Blairsville, GA or to Project Chimps of Morganton in Ms. Lipton's memory.
