She was predeceased by: her father D. G. "Dock" Penland; and her husband Howard Holt. She is survived by: her children, Wayne Holt (Dianne) of Ellijay and Edith Weaver of Ellijay; her grandchildren, Mandy Banks (Adam), Kevin Holt (Lindsey), Janna Teague (Leeman), Joseph Holt (Allison), Melissa Mooney (Luke) and Adam DeBoard (Amanda); and her caregivers, Shawdee Pope, Shirley McDowell, Hazel Ray and Janet Chambers. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
