She is survived by: her mother Marcella Trammell Elrod of Talking Rock; her husband Dewayne Newton of Ellijay; her daughters, Courtney Pettit (Winston) of Ellijay and Lauren Newton of Ellijay; her stepson Tyler Newton of Dalton, GA; her brothers, Keith Elrod (Whitney) of Jasper and Clay Elrod (Amanda) of Talking Rock; and her grandchildren, Ava Leigh Pettit and Madison Newton.
