He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Johnson and Betty Worley Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Debra Johnson; his sister Debra Thigpen; and his sibling's children, Beth King, Jessica Thigpen and Travis Thigpen. He is also survived by several half-brothers and sisters.
