He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eugene and Ruth Maxine Morris (Hilton); his former wife Cheryl Melinda Morris (Lee); and his brother Charles Morris. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Morris of Ellijay, GA; his daughter Amanda; his son-in-law Michael Laxson of Athens, GA; his sons, Daniel (Lorraine Morris) and Chris (Jaye Morris); his brothers, David Morris and Michael Morris of Missouri; and his stepchildren, Donnie Allen, Tammy, Andy Mills and Tracy Saylor. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
