It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Long of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on November 3, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Long to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Grayson and Ethel Long (McBee); his wife Ruth Louise Stover Long; his son-in-law Charles Stiles; and his siblings, Maggie Soloman, Mack Long, Grady Long, Ed Long, Dee Long, Fate Long, Virgil Long, Leslie Long, Nell Long, Amy Long McDaniel, Belle Long Kindall, Hoke Long and Leva Foster Childers.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Sue Stiles of Ellijay, Jimmy R. Long, Jerry R. Long and Tim (Anne Long); his parents-in-law, Rachel, Josh Aaron, Kristan Long, Alan and Ashley Long; his great grandchildren, Abby Grace Aaron and Eli Aaron; and his sisters, Annie Long Hoose of Belleville and Mary Lee Long Mullinax of Ellijay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
