We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Thomas Nelson Mathis Sr. of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Bryan Mathis and Kate Hamby Mathis. He is survived by: his wife Mary H. Mathis; his sons, Tom Mathis (Casey), Hank Mathis (Patricia) and Russ Mathis (Cathy); his grandchildren, Katherine Vantosh, Bryan Mathis and Megan Morris; and his great grandchildren, Thomas and Millie Mathis.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to Ga Mountain Hospice c/o 70 Caring Way, Jasper, GA 30143.
