He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lee Lewis and Gladys Davidson Lewis; and his son Richard Dale Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Lewis; his children, Dianne Hanley (John), Billy Lewis, Jr. (Vicki) and Susan Stewart (Rickey); his grandchildren, Joy Stewart (Allen), John Hanley, Jr. (Jessica), Tabitha Strickland (Mark) and Jonathon Dale Lewis (Cara); his great grandchildren, Keeley Stewart, Kylee Strickland and Penelope Lewis; and his sister Helen Crawford.
