He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James Fleming and Love Marie Blanchard Fleming; his former wife Elizabeth Bartles Fleming; his siblings, Hugh Fleming, Myrtle Cliatt and Clarice Littleton Gray; and his grandson Brian Valentine of Louisville.
He is survived by: his wife Eloise Hodge Fleming; his children, Sandra Fleming of Evans, James Fleming (Mary) of Prospect, Jonathan Fleming, William Miller of St. Cloud and Jacqueline Heider (Alex) of Evans, Georgia; his grandchildren, Fleming Ellison (Robert) of Evans, Julie Dismuke (Steven) of Evans, John Harlan of Evans, Jason Fleming of Louisville, Dominique James of Louisville, Olivia Timmons of Louisville, Beth Steward of Louisville, Kristin Valentine of Louisville, James Donald Heider (JD) of Evans, Georgia, Leanna Heider of Evans, Georgia, Austen Heider and James Heider (JD); and his great grandchildren, Harrison Goff and Hampton Goff. He is also survived by 13 Great-grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews.
