It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frank August Nagels Jr. of Evans, Georgia, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank, Sr. Nagles and Dorothy Nagles. He is survived by: his wife Dora Lea Best of Rockford; his close friend Warren Tudor; his friends, R. T., Brownie Sumner, Claudus and Sara Ann Birdsong; his children, Christopher (Angela Newman), Stephen (Sarah Newman), Jamie Nicholas Newman of Atlanta, GA., Jennifer Ann and Matthew of Littleton, Colorado.; his sister Frances McCarthy; Noah, David, Jaden, Gabriel and Kellan Newman. He is also survived by two daughters, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid restrictions, the graveside service in Milledgeville, Georgia will be held for immediate family only.
