He was predeceased by: his father Norman Palmer Sr.; his brother Norman Palmer Jr. (Butch); and his grandson Tanner Haywood. He is survived by: his wife Lavon Palmer; his mother Lois Palmer; his children, Melissa Mobley (Jared), Leslie Haywood (Tripp), Melinda Mosca, Haley Palmer, Carson Childers (Paul), Jacob Myers, BreeAnna Myers and Brittany Stark (Andrew); his grandchildren, Taylor Mapp (Jay), Darby Cudd, Parker Cudd, Kaleb Mosca, Greyson Hatfield (Cameron), Eli Connell, Mason Childers, Nathaniel Myers and Blakely Hatfield; and his brother Steve Palmer (Teresa). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
