He is survived by: his wife Helen Cook; his children, Sandra Battle, Andre Padgett, Carla Meiletta and Elijah Felder (Lesa); his grandchildren, Shanita, Carissa, Justin, Markita, Shimika, Malikia and Helen; his siblings, Duncan (Aretha), Henrietta, Eleanor and Elaine (James); his siblings-in-law, Patricia, Bertha, Pinise, Willie Mae, Genether, Linda, Virginia, James, Charles and Irving Padgett; and his niece Sonia. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; and one brand new great-great granddaughter.
