She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaspare Provenzano and Katie DiMieri Provenzano; and her sisters, Maria DeClair and Lucille Leeman. She is survived by: her husband David Matos; her sons, David Mark Matos (Catherine) and Michael Paul Matos (Ashley); her grandsons, Marc Matos and Sean Matos; and her brother Peter Provenzano (Deborah).

Due to Kathy's great love of animals, in lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Columbia County Humane Society, 6100 Columbia Road, Grovetown, Georgia 30813.
