With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Marie Colette Eckerman Haukaas Sfo (Evans, Georgia), born in Colome, South Dakota, who passed away on December 29, 2019 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Eckerman and Katherine Steiner Eckerman; and her husband Donald James Haukaas. She is survived by: her children, Jean Fortin of Robert Fortin, M. D., Creek and Larry Haukaas (Kelly); and her sister Mary Lindley of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
