He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martha Allen and Job Allen; his wife Beverly; his daughters, Cheryl Hewlett and Linda McSherry; his son-in-law Tim McSherry; his grandchildren, TJ McSherry, Devon Mcsherry, Kristin Fox, Tom Fox, Keegan Hewlett and Katie Hewlett; and his great grandchild Seamus McSherry.
In lieu of flowers, Leroy asked that donations be made in his name to the Turning Point Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center – a facility where horse riding is used in treatment of various impairments.
