He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cheryl Lawhorn Carswell-Collins; his parents, Christine Lindsey Collins and Thurmond Baxley Collins Sr.; his children, Chris Collins (Regina), Cara Jones (Kevin), Cassie Bartlett (W. G.), Cayle Anderson (Rondell), Lindsey Carswell (Matt) and Michelle Carswell; his grandchildren, Landen Collins, Ashley Collins, Collins Jones, Cayson Jones, Jaedon Crunkelton, Kendal Crunkelton, Dakota Anderson, Tamron Anderson and Keaton Carswell; and his siblings, Cheri Slade (Greg) and Ricky Collins (Carol).
Because of the family's respect and concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged during any gathering.
