She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl S. Thompson and Evelyn Butts Thompson; her sons, Stan Sewell and Ken Sewell; her grandson Derek Raleigh Sewell; and her siblings, Carl S. Thompson Jr., David F. Thompson and Betty Lou T. Warren.
She is survived by: her husband Carl S. Sewell; her son Scott I. Sewell (Lori); her sister Lynn T. Lupton (Charles); her daughters-in-law, Lynn Sewell and Connie Tucker (Howell); and her grandchildren, Chris Sewell (Alisha), Travis Sewell (Trish), Brittany Leatherwood (Daniel), Carly Martin (Davis), Price Sewell, Emily Williams (Clay), Peyton Sewell and Parker Sewell. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
