She was predeceased by: her husband Cleveland W. Bethune; her parents, Joe King and Myrtle King; and her sisters, Marian "Dink" Norton and Dorothy King.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Bethune (Charlotte) of Evans and Brenda Adkisson (Earl) of Marietta, GA; and her grandchildren, Ashby Bethune (Clare) of Evans, Aaron Bethune (Lauren) of Evans, Keely Beckman (John Allen) of Evans, John Adkisson (Katie) of Marietta, Alyson Davis (Nelson) of Marietta and Greg Adkisson of Marietta. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
