She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Christian and Luticia Edelle Hodges; her husband Murray Long, Sr.; her son Russell Long; and her brother Frank Hodges.
She is survived by: her children, Murray Long, Jr. (Barbara) of Byron, Mark Long of Dublin, Daniel Barnwell Long of Eden, Dorothy Hughes of Claxton and Patricia Hendrix of Claxton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
