She is survived by: her husband William Adam Joy; her son Walden Asher Joy; her parents, Hobson M. of Estill, SC and Sandra Simmons of Estill, SC; her brother Michael Todd Simmons (Lindsey) of Long Creek, SC; her nephew Evatt Simmons; her grandmother Helen Bass; her stepchildren, Jacob Joy and Kayla Joy; and her stepgrandson Lexund Joy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to the In Focus Church Greater Building Fund, 562 Rountree Way, Evans, GA 30809.
