It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tommy Neal of Evans, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, B. B. Neal and Magdaline Miller Neal; and his siblings, Jerry Neal and Gwen Enlow. He is survived by: his wife Sherry T. Neal; his children, Mark Neal (Cindy), George Marshall (Cynthia) of Appling, GA, Audra Neal of New York, Tammy Meissner (Michael) of Appling, GA and Melanie Peck of Hilton Head, SC; his brothers, Paul Wayne Neal (Paula) of Charleston and Donald Neal of Augusta, GA; his niece Monica McNatt (Chris) of Beech Island, SC.; and his close friends, Josh Marshall, Daniel Marshall, Jonathan Marshall, Trevor Peck, Kirk Watts and Dustin Meissner. He is also survived by 8 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren.
Per CDC requirements the family will be observing social distancing.
It is the family's request that memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
