He is survived by: his wife Anita Trahan; his children, Ariana Wilkins, Jowhari Hlope, Adina Trahan, Leighton Trahan, Omar Lateef (Ouns), Allan Trahan (Becky) and Alex Trahan; his mother Sylvia Trahan; his stepdaughters, Juanita C. Jackson, Lisa Hardge and Denise Jackson (Andre); and his siblings, Jozette Mabry, Natalie Schields Johnson, Gregory Trahan, Keith Trahan and James Trahan. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three adopted grandchildren.
