It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Van Joyner Jr. of Fairburn, Georgia, who passed away on July 3, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Hinchliffe Joyner; and his son Steven Randolph Joyner. He is survived by: his children, Vicki Joyner Price, Mike, Terry and Chris Joyner; and his niece Tracie Joyner. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mr. Joyner's name to the Atlanta Mission, Atlanta Community Food Bank, the International Rescue Committee, Mercy Ships, St. Joseph's Indian School, or the charity of your choice that serves those less fortunate.
