He was predeceased by: his parents, George Watson Childers, Sr. and Ora Parker Childers; his brothers, Max Childers (Jean), Tom Childers (Wanda) and Guy Childers (Brenda); and his siblings-in-law, Ham Childers, Betty Jo Chastain and Ann Childers.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Childers; his daughter Dondra Hendrix (Allen); his siblings, Ed Childers, James Childers, Herman Childers (Lynn), Bobby Childers (Martha), Melvin Childers (Sally), Linda Childers, Gail Neighbors and Bonnie Pruitt (Ronnie); his brothers-in-law, Tim Stafford, Jeff Stafford (Vanessa) and Johnny Chastain; his grandsons, Dawson Hendrix and Donovan Hendrix; his nephew Blake Childers (Elizabeth); his cousins, Kenneth and Dennis Childers; and his pet Tazz.
Due to the National health crisis and Covid-19 virus, mask must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
