He was predeceased by: his parents, William Griffis and Rosa Myree Carter Parrish; and his siblings, Sheila Lynn Peplinski, Cheryl Murray, Lucetta Murray and Arland Griffis.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Taylor Griffis of Fargo; his children, David Taylor (Kelly) of Macclenny, FL and Angie Crews of Fargo; his grandchildren, Kyleigh Taylor, Ella Taylor, Daiquiri Lofton, Brayden Lofton and Avery Hayes; his stepfather Jimmy Parrish of Pearson; and his sister Jenell Steedley of Manor. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Higher Heights Christian Fellowship. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
