It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garnett H. McGinness (Fayetteville, Georgia), who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, G. L. McGinness and Nellie Parham; his siblings, Frances and Larry; his former life partner Betty Sue McGinness; and his friends, Frank and Jean Cape.

He is survived by : his caregiver Anna Carroll; his children, Steve (Trish), Laurel (Jerry), Jennifer (Richard) and Joyce; his brother Robert (Cleta); his granddaughters, Mylee and Michella (Sara); and his pet Java Chip.
