He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wingo and Viola Wingo; his siblings, Thurston, Bomar, John, Coleman, Bernice, Betty and Naomi; and his sons, Mark, Tim and Chad Wingo.

He is survived by: his wife Becky Wingo; his children, Kim Clements, Greg and Kevin Wingo; and his brother Aaron Wingo.
